Get to know me

Hi and welcome to THE KNOW! I am Ashley Luyindu a recent graduate with my Master's degree in Public Administration (Urban Management and Policy concentration) and enjoying some pretty cool opportunities since then. I am so excited to start this adventure with you all, and to see how you respond to the topics I discuss in my posts. 

This blog will be a unique look into how I view the world of politics, race/identity, entertainment, history, and everything else in between. I started this blog because it's quarantine and I was bored more often, but also because I knew that I could offer a perspective on the world around me that I know at least one person may find useful or entertaining. I am a nerd at heart which makes my writing usually research based and historically backed, but I am sure that you'll enjoy either way.

My family is from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and I am first generation born American. I dream big and aim high no matter the situation. I love Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior and have a weird obsession with watching F1 racing! Ready for you all to view things through my lenses and be in THE KNOW with me.
